"This particular piece is also a Justin Behnke design. Wood Ducks are a real tricky one, because there's so many different colors and so many different textures and iridescent [glass]... so it's a little challenging, but that's what makes it fun. A lot of pieces have also been sandblasted, to get the proper effect. And, also, these have been etched and painted, because all Wood Ducks have those little dots on their chest. Also, the eye has been fused to give it some dimension on the eyeball, which makes it kind of cool. Several other pieces have been sandblasted like the sky, and more vertigo glass, which I'm known for, in the water" - Eric Brown
